I want to frame
Every single one
Of your scribbles
In my notebook

Every time you take
A pen, a crayon
To my blessed page
I watch in wonder

Of what you’ll form
Of what you see
In your mind
In your eye
Of your creation
Of you imagination

I am in awe
Of how you work
Of how you continue
To amaze us

And I don’t want
To let this go
But dreams, like memories
Fade away in time
Become less
Available

And while you grow
Everyday before my eyes
I can’t help but want
To frame every scribble you draw
Because before I realize the time again
I will look back and I will smile
Because you will have become a woman
And I will finally have written
My masterpiece

You will always be
My greatest art experiment
